I used sfballet.org to check show dates and buy tickets, and overall it was smooth. The site was easy to navigate, the seating details made sense, and checkout went through without any issues. A few pages were slow to load on my phone, which got a bit irritating, but if my experience is anything to go by, it’s generally a simple and reliable site to use

"Felt a little too stiff and businesslike"
I was hoping for a fun, relaxed night out, but the whole place felt kind of cold to me. The building looked nice enough, but the crowd and overall atmosphere were stiff, and the staff were polite without being especially warm. It felt like everyone was just trying to keep things moving as fast as possible.
Maybe I just caught them on an off night, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the focus was more on getting people in, seated, and spending money than actually making the experience enjoyable. The performance itself might work for some people, but the vibe made it hard for me to really settle in and enjoy it.

"No trouble using it with my screen reader"
I used the site on my phone with my screen reader and didn’t have no trouble getting around. The ticket info was easy to find, and everything worked smooth for me.

"Refund took longer than I expected"
I had to exchange my tickets, and it did work out, so that was good. The emails were a bit slow though, like I kept checking my inbox and, anyway, the refund details weren’t super clear at first. In the end everything got sorted, just took a little longer than I would’ve liked...

"View was okay, not amazing"
I could see most of the stage but yeah, being on the side meant I missed a few parts here and there. The site info helped a bit, just wish it had been a little more clear about the angle

"Great dancing, but I wasn’t sold on every piece"
The choreography was really nice, and I could tell quickly the dancers knew what they were doing. I’ll admit I started assuming it was going to be strong all the way through, but some of the program choices felt a bit uneven to me. Still, there were definitely some great moments

I’ll admit the event info was a bit confusing and I had to figure some things out on my own. It wasn’t a huge deal in the end, but I do wish the details had been laid out more clearly.

"Good seats for the price"
I thought the tickets were reasonable for what we got. I was comparing around a bit and wanted to make sure other people were finding decent deals too, and these seats ended up being a solid choice without spending a ridiculous amount. The show was great, so it definitely felt worth it.

"Nice ballet, but the little things added up"
The ballet itself was really lovely, and that’s what I was there for, so I still had a good time. I kind of assumed the concessions would be overpriced because that seems to be the pattern at places like this, but the snacks still felt a bit pricey. The lines also moved slower than I expected, which made the whole intermission feel slightly rushed. Bathrooms were clean enough, and the seats were okay, though not exactly the most comfortable. Overall it was fine, just thought the experience would be a little smoother...

I went to a performance I booked through sfballet.org, and overall it was a good experience. The dancers were obviously super talented, and there were a few moments that looked really smooth and impressive.
That said... some parts felt a little slow to me, and I didn’t stay fully pulled in the whole time. The music was nice, but in a few scenes it didn’t quite match the mood the way I expected.
I’m glad I went, but for the price, I guess I was hoping for a bit more. Not a bad show at all... just kind of a mixed one for me.

"The Orchestra Quietly Stole the Show"
I went in thinking the ballet would be the main thing for me, but reading between the lines of the whole night, it was really the orchestra that stayed with me. The music was so clear and rich without overpowering the dancers, and everything just felt perfectly balanced. It added so much emotion to the performance. i’d go back just to hear the live music again...

I always pay attention to how a place handles the basics, and parking was one of those things that just worked. Getting there was simple, and finding a spot was super easy, which set a good tone right away...

"Pretty sure the SF Ballet is worth it"
I went to the SF Ballet and, i’m still kind of thinking about it. I’m definitely not a ballet expert or anything, so maybe I’m missing some of the finer details, but the dancers seemed incredible to me. Every tiny movement looked so controlled, even the parts that seemed effortless. The solos had a lot of emotion, and the group sections were so precise it was almost unreal. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect going in, but I ended up being completely drawn in the whole time. I’d go again, no question.

I tried getting tickets through sfballet.org the whole thing was kind of annoying. The site felt slow, the seat map wasn’t loading properly half the time, and checkout took me a few tries before it actually went through. I did end up getting the tickets, but it was way more of a hassle than it needed to be.
